  w00 h00! I've been approved for free new hearing aids!!!

  took a while, but i got approved for 2 brand new hearing aids for free!!

  the clinic across from the homeless shelter where i am staying told me today that my application for 2 brand new hearing aids got approved and i am to report to the clinic tomorrow morning at 10 am to be fitted for new ear molds.. still no luck on jobs!

  i went to the speedway gas station 6 weeks ago and came back 3 weeks later to check on the status of my application and someone lost it.

  $1800 for ONE hearing aid???? Wow!!! Talk about milking the people!!!!

  But, I assume that many people who need hearing aids are covered by insurance. So their out of pocket expenses is probably minimal.

  Yiz probably does not have insurance since he's currently looking for work. But, why should he suffer ust because he's down on his luck at the present time?

  I'm glad there are programs out there that supply people with hearing aids and other medical supplies to people who just can't afford them. You never know when you might have to take advantage of these programs.

  In any case, I hope the Hearing Aids help you on your job search and when you finally land a job, Yiz.

  No wonder I don't visit this board as often as I do. Every time I do, it's always the SAME people arguing over the stupidist things. What a turn off. So much for healing!!

  I just watched bits and pieces of the trial today. I really was not following the case at all until I saw this tread.

  Why was his wife so upset with him when she dropped him off at work that night? I got the impression he was caught fooling around on her. Was that the case?

  in the newspaper today there was an article on pope john paul's visit to crotia.

  this is his 100th pilramage, in his 83rd year.

  in 2 weeks he is scheduled to go to bosnia, where i doubt he'll get as warm as a reception as he did in croatia.

  Are we so superior that we can actually say who should live and who should die just because their body is failing? Yes, the Pope is not in good health. But, that does not mean his mind is gone. How awful for anybody to have their mind sharp but their body fail.

  I've seen many people suffer from Parkensons. There is so much their mind wants to do but the body just isn't able to. What a terrible disease!

  The Pope is cool. Leave him alone.
